Millions of animals die every day in overcrowded animal control shelters across the United States. Many shelters still use the horrific gas chamber as a method of euthanization.
CATAHOULA UNITED RESCUE- "CURS" IS TRYING TO CHANGE THIS & WE NEED YOUR HELP!
Catahoula United Rescue Society, Inc. is a non-profit 501c3 animal rescue
organization devoted to saving the lives of Catahoula Leopard Dogs and Catahoula mixes from high kill shelters across the US. We are an all volunteer group with members from all over the U.S. We save dogs on death row in high-kill shelters across the US. We believe all dogs deserve a chance at life which is why we rescue not only the young dogs, but the old dogs, the dogs who require extensive medical care, the dogs who have been so traumatized by being dumped in a kill shelter that they turn their faces to the wall and give up on life.
We pull, vet & rehabilitate them & help get them placed in loving forever homes.
Through the generosity of people like you, we've saved over 250 dogs since we began in 2006!
We're entered in a contest through Six Degrees.org for the chance to win a
matching grant from Kevin Bacon & Hanes for up to $10,000! This is a CHANCE
OF A LIFETIME opportunity & will allow us to continue our daily rescue
efforts as well as do so much more such as fund our Heartworm treatment and
Spay/Neuter progams!
