I woke up on Saturday about 4:15; a dog was whining and needed to go out (never ignore a dog who wants to go out). I got back in bed and hoped that everyone would settle down, but they didn't. I got up at 5 so I could get ready to meet Diane at 6:15. This photo isn't great, but oh well. The sun was trying to peek over the trees.
We boarded the bus and left Richmond behind about 7 am.
The trip to Baltimore took about 2.5 hours. Our driver, Reuben, was 'efficient' (euphemism for really fast). When we got off the bus, this is what we saw:
We practically ran in, and I insisted we take a couple of photos. It was a good thing I did, because those were the LAST photos I took that day. Stitches does not allow cameras into the auditorium.
Chan got a one or two before she left, quickly like me so as not to get run off. Check her blog to see them.
The day was long, the company was great and the legs were tired! Photos of purchases to follow.

Quick is right. I understand that they didn't want us taking photos of the yarns and whatnot, but...
Ooooo, I'm glad you'll be posting photos. I didn't make it this year (I was going to be there all day Friday, but that SO didn't happen!), so I'll be looking at all your stuff for Vicarious Yarn Convention Thrills!
