I had not been over to Yorktown since, well, since about 1976 actually! My French Class went to the celebration surrounding the end of the Revolutionary War. The President of France was present (Valerie D'Estang (sp?)), as well as lots of other students and dignitaries. So, since the visit was long overdue (can you say "where did the last 30 years actually GO?"), I was kindly escorted there for a visit by R.S., aka rocket scientist for future reference. My photos are posted at Flickr, but I have included a couple here also. Since a thunderstorm was in the making, we decided to head back to Gloucester for ... ice cream ...! Can't believe all the cool places in Gloucester now. I won't even start on that rant right now.
